What a start to the 'Sun is Rising' book tour in the heart of where it all began for me. Reconnecting with my Hattiesburg roots, surrounded by dear friends, family, and esteemed local leaders was beyond heartwarming.
The surprise proclamation on March 29, the day of my book release, touched me deeply. Thank you, Hattiesburg, for this honor.
